Understand the causes of acne
People of all ages all over the world are affected with acne or pimple in other words and hence it is important to learn the causes of acne and how
to cure them. The younger generation are more likely to suffer from acne than the older generation. There are a number of treatment techniques and products available to help reduce or control acne and even to get rid of acne totally. Some of them are effective while others are not since it depends on so many factors including skin texture and eating habits of individuals.

- Puberty in humans is when the onset of acne can happen since this is the time when the body produces testosterone which is then converted by the body into dihydrotesterone that in turn causes secretion of oil. Too much oil secretion causes the oil to block the pores in the body leading to formation of acne. As a matter of fact, puberty may even cause too much of acne that can lead to rashes.
- Also, Retention Hyperkeratosis is a condition that makes the body produce far too many skin cells which is actually more than the body can shed. The end result is that these extra skin cells clog up the pores leading to the formation of acne. This and too much oil and dirt clubbed together along with bacteria can cause acne.
- Eating habits matter a lot and frequently consuming chocolate cause acne and it is largely due to the cocoa present in chocolates. Also, there is a belief that eating very spicy and greasy foods too often can also cause acne. While this is true, we also need to eliminate this misunderstanding that we never should consume spicy food at all. After all, we are humans and we tend to eat what we like most whether it is spicy food or sweets. Just bear in mind that too much is too bad.The truth is that it is only when pores in the skin are clogged that acne develops; other factors are only incidental to the main fact.
- Stress is also known to be one of major causes of acne. It can also aggravate an existing acne condition. It is important to follow some destressing regimen on a daily basis like regular morning excercise, breathing techniques and yoga.
